Marc Burrows
Marc Burrows - "floppy haired comedian" is not only a comedian, but also plays bass for the critically acclaimed Victorian Punk band The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing alongside cult comedian Andrew O'Neill, amongst other bands. He required a site centred around a blog, with sections to add photos and to add in gig listings, with the visual style also being very important.
To meet the brief I designed a Wordpress-based site (Wordpress, PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS), which allows Marc to keep the site easily updated whilst he's out at gigs. The template was designed and built from scratch, and as such the site was able to be customised to Marc's needs very easily. His twitter feed was also pulled in and displayed as a further way of ensuring the content was regularly updated.
